CountdownClock is a Firefox extension that displays a clock that counts down to a target date set by the user. You can use it to figure out how long you have to live (based on your life expectancy), or how long before Christmas...
Upon installation, you will see the following notice in the status bar :
You need to set a new target date. You can do so by either double-clicking on the label, or by opening the option window from the extensions menu. Either way, you'll be faced with the target window.
Pretty self-explanatory. All you need is to set the target to whatever date you want to count down to, and the message to display when the target time is reached. Next, we have the Display tab.
This is where you decide the granularity of the countdown, which is whether to have it displayed as 549872 seconds or as 6 days, 8 hours, 44 minutes and 32 seconds. You can also set a prefix and suffix to the countdown.
The result will be a countdown appearing in Firefox's status bar.
